SEA OTTER FOCUS TOURS

The Elkhorn Slough is the best place in the world to observe this unique and endearing species. Our head naturalist, Austin Shank will share fun facts about the history, physiology, and habits of the Southern Sea Otter, and discuss the conservation efforts that led to the Elkhorn Slough having the highest concentration of Southern Sea Otters in the world!

Hot Chocolate Sunset Cruise

      Friday, October 27 at 4:30PM

Offered only in autumn, this tour is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy our delightful October weather and enchanting late afternoon lighting on the Elkhorn Slough. Sip on a cup of hot chocolate while watching the amusing antics of sea otters, and graceful flocks of migratory birds.

MARINE MAMMAL BABY TOURS

Offered only in Spring, these tours provide an excellent opportunity to view the Harbor Seal pups born in the Elkhorn Slough in April. We also tend to see a spike in Sea Otter births around this time as well. These tours are led by our Marine Mammal Specialists.
